Gravity Science Foundation® organized “Annular Solar Eclipse” watching program on 26/12/2019 for students of Chamarajanagara district at JSS College ground in collaboration with department of public instructions and college education department.

Gravity Science Foundation® had celebrated 1st year Foundation Day on 15/10/2019 at J H Patel Auditorium, Chamarajanagara. On this occasion the foundation organized “Student’s Science Festival”. The foundation has conducted many scientific activities, Science lectures and Scientist-Students interaction various science competitions.

Dr. A S Kiran Kumar, Former Chairperson, ISRO and Member of Indian Space Commission was the Chief guest of the program. Mr. Kiran Kumar inaugurated the program and addressed more than 500 students assembled in the hall. After the talk he has interacted with the students and answered the questions, which is posed by the students.

Gravity Science Foundation® is being collaborated with many schools to start science clubs to conduct various science programs and hands on activities for students in their schools and colleges.

Gravity Science Foundation® had organized “Kannada Vijnana Mela” at Sevabharathi PU College, Chamarajanagara on 23/11/2019. It is a special program for students to learn and understand various concepts of science in their mother language Kannnda. It is the very special event organized by GSF every year to promote science in local language Kannada in the month of November.

On the “3rd Year Foundation Day” of Gravity Science Foundation, the foundation had inaugurated “Karnataka Associated of Amateur Radio and Space Sciences (KAARSS)”, A wing of Gravity Science Foundation to promote and popularize Amateur Radio and Space Science among the students, teachers and the general public in the state Karnataka. On this day a special lecture was delivered by Dr. Shashishekar Shivaswamy, Head, Department of Flight Physics, AIRBUS INDIA private limited, Banglore, Who was the Chief Guest and Dr. S. N. Prasad, Former Principal and Senior Professor of Physics, Regional Education Institute, Mysuru, Who was the Guest of Honor.

Zilla Panchayat Chamarajanagara in collaboration with Gravity Science Foundation, Chamarajanagara has developed the well-equipped smart classes in Government schools (rural and tribal areas) which come under different Grama Panchayats in Chamarajanagara district.

Gravity Science Foundation® organizes many exposure programs like Science quiz, essay writing, Science debate, Experimental skill test, Career guidance, Science trip and Model making for students to make them enjoy their science topics. This kind of activities make them become passionate about can increase their brain function, also help them to concentrate and manage their time better, all of which contribute to higher grades in academics.
